Commas in Sentence.

I am not sure whether I need two commas in the following sentence. I would appreciate advice on which sentence is correct. Thank you.

By the beginning of 1904, Abramowski was eating an all raw fruit and vegetable diet, and he had reduced his weight from 14 to 10 stones.
