Commas In or Out?

Strictly per BRITISH STYLE, are all the commas in their correct positions? Or should they go outside in each sentence below?1. The signs 'Beware of Dog,' 'Swim At Your Own Risk,' and 'Violators Will Be Towed At Their Own Expense' were conspicuously posted throughout the village.2. The sentences 'It is what it is,' 'Be careful what you wish for,' and 'That's the way I like it' were omitted from the passage.3. The adages 'Discretion is the better part of valor,' 'A stitch in time saves nine,' 'Waste not want not,' and 'Familiarity breeds contempt' are among my favorites.Thank you. :-)
