Comma use before or after "and"?

Which sentence is grammatically correct among those listed below?
1. I ask myself these questions and, in a few moments, I find several ways to improve my story.
2. I ask myself these questions, and in a few moments, I find several ways to improve my story.
3. I ask myself these questions and, in a few moments, find several ways to improve my story.
4. I ask myself these questions, and in a few moments, find several ways to improve my story.
5. I ask myself these questions, and I, in a few moments, find several ways to improve my story.
Please also help explain with some grammatical rules.

It is not grammar; it is merely punctuation. Use enough commas

I think #4a is the best.

If I had to take one of the others, I think #3 is better than #2. If we are going to comma off something, I think it should be 'in a few moments, leaving 'and' with the two coordinating clauses.

Thank you very much for your answer. It gives me a strong opinion on #4a as suggested by another member.It's also interesting for me to consider other options #2 and #3. In #3, comma is off before the coordinating conjunction "and" (as for short sentences) but a pair of commas are inserted around the interrupter "in a few moments." It sounds great.
