Comma usage and dates

Where if at all, should the commas be in this sentence? Can you help me find the rule online to prove my point? I think there should be no commas after the "2010's"... my boss thinks there should be:

"At no time on October 6, 2010, or October 7, 2010, did Mr. Kimbrough contact Mr. Miller to request time off."
