Comma usage

"From my rotting body, flowers shall grow, and I am in them, and that is eternity." - Edvard Munch

Is the comma usage correct in the quote above? I've also seen people writte it without a comma between "grow" and "and" or with just one comma after "body",

If you are asking about correct English, the commas are fine as written, but other combinations are also possible as you suggest. Note that this is intended to be a direct quote, so it is supposed to represent his actual words, whether they are correct English or not. If Munch actually spoke these words, you'd have to listen to a recording, if there is one, to see if he paused briefly in those place s.
