Comma usage

The following sentence is going to be used in a workplace violence poster but the use of commas has been disputed. Can you tell me the correct punctuation needed or the best way to compose this sentence for maximum impact?

"If you've been a victim of workplace violence, speak out, and together we can make it a thing of the past."

I have a feeling the comma before "speak out" should be removed. Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you
