Comma usage

Hi,

This is the example#1: He looked at the two women in their seats who were arguing with each other and fighting over trivial matters.
Or #2: He looked at the two woman in their seats, arguing with each other and fighting over trivial matters.

Can we remove 'who were' and put a comma there?
