Comma splices

Are these comma splices? If so, how do I correct them without altering the sentences?

Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing.

He'll never apply again, trust me.

Trust me, he'll never apply again.

The simplest way is to change the commas to periods or exclamation marks. If you want to. Not all comma splices are inherently bad!

How about ...

Winning isn't everything; it's the only thing.

He'll never apply again; trust me.

Trust me; he'll never apply again.

And:

Winning isn't everything – it's the only thing.

He'll never apply again – trust me.

Trust me – he'll never apply again.

Could all of these feasibly work, too?
