Comma/ since/ sentence structure?

Could someone please have a look at the following sentence?

I'm not sure if the comma is correct?
Is 'since' a good word the connect these two parts?
Is the structure ok?

"This section will not explain each variable separately, since Appendix B provides a full detailed definition of each regressor."

Everything looks OK, except consider whether you need to say "full detailed". If you do need both words, I would write "full and detailed description", but probably just one of them will suffice.
