I have this sentence, which has a number of commas in it. The sentence is meant to suggest someone rushing their words. Is it ok?
'Well, the dream was about our son-to-be, his name was going to be James, I mean his name was James.' I was stuttering my words, so I stopped, composed myself, and carried on talking the best that I could.
