Comma Placement

Kyle's grammatically incorrect sentences were "No one were there", "John's parents was rich" and "Gloria is tamed the dog."

My questions:
(1) Commas outside the end quote marks as shown?
(2) Should I use the serial comma?
(3) Does the full stop go inside the ending quote marks as shown above?
