Comma or no comma?

Hi. I have difficulty deciding whether a certain phrase is essential or not. Look at the example sentences below, should I consider the underlined parts nonessential and put a comma before each of them? I put a comma before each phrase and considered both nonessential, but I think they look essential to the sentences (see -- I don't know what to do.) . Thank you in advance for your help.

1. Please fill in the blanks in the passage, starting with the second line of the passage.

2. Please line up, starting with the youngest.

I'd drop commas in both sentences.
You may use commas there by changing the sentence structure, i.e. putting the participle clauses first.
