Comma or And?

A) It’s going to be a long, cold night.

B) It’s going to be a long and cold night.

Does the choice of ”comma” and ”and” make a difference in any way? Is it just a matter of preference?

Does the choice of ”comma” and ”and” make a difference in any way? Not really. Possibly B adds a little more emphass, because it is a less commom syntax.
