comma needed?

Do I need a comma in this sentence or can i remove it?

The crew upon Captain Morgan's ship, represent friendship and bond.

No comma, as AG said. You must remove it; it's incorrect.

The 'bond' sounds unnatural to me; I'd use 'bonding'.
