Comma confusion

In British English, would you concur that the only comma needed below is the one after 'PM'?

On Thursday 2nd March 2006 at 5:10 PM, Harry Harrison retired.

On Thursday Mike resigned.
(No comma after 'Thursday'?)

On 2nd March Mike resigned.
(OK?)

In 1992 Mike's parents were divorced.
(No comma after '1992'?)

In 2005 500 people were laid off.
(No comma after '2005'?)

Thanks
