Comma between "no" and a name

John said, "They're all gone."

Jane said, "No, John, there are more."

Is the comma after "no" correct? All the rules I'm finding online about "no" are treating it as the answer to a question, but I am not using "no" that way.

A name is set off with a comma or commas in direct address. A dialogue tag must be set off with punctuation. Your examples are correct.
