Comma before the name or not

He walked over to the CEO of his company, Michael Ball.

Is that comma necessary? If it wasn't there, would it sound too much like the company name is Michael Ball, rather than the CEO's name being that?

I would word it like below He walked towards Mr. Michael Ball, the CEO of his company. i think comma is necessary to have proper meaning if you want to keep your wording same.

I would word it like below

He walked towards Mr. Michael Ball, the CEO of his company.
i think comma is necessary to have proper meaning if you want to keep your wording same.

That is fine as it is. You need the comma.
