Comma before "such as"

Hello,

"I love to eat red fruits, such as apple, cherry, or strawberry."

In this sentence, would it be correct to remove the comma before "such as"? Also, it is necessary to change "or" to "and"? If yes, do we do the same for series of items introduced by "for example" and "like"? Thanks much in advance!

Thanks, Mister Micawber. I've a follow-up question, though. Why is "or" at the end of a list introduced by "such as" and similar expressions incorrect?

It is not 'incorrect', but we normally save 'or' for negative statements. Your list is affirmative and inclusive.
