Comma before or in this sentence

Must I include a comma before "or" in the sentence below? I'm trying to say I might paint a picture tonight ,or I might go out with my friends tonight.

Sentence: I am going to either paint a picture tonight or go out with my friends.

Thank you!

Hi, I wouldn't naturally pause in saying that sentence. The 'either/or' combination ties what is said together as what you might call a single thought. Clive
