Comma after 'For some reason?'

In the following sentences, do you think I need a comma after 'For some reason'? Not sure if there's a particular rule around this or not.

For some reason she smiled at me.

For some reason I thought I'd see his face again.

For some reason you keep thinking that I want to hurt you.

Thanks.

Some wouldn’t use a comma because for that reason is rather brief. However, I always use a comma after introductory phrases, regardless of length.

I'm one that wouldn't, but a comma is also OK there, as Gus says. The general guideline is that fronted adverbs should be followed by commas unless they are brief, in which case the comma is optional. You do not want to slow down sentence flow with too many commas, that is all.

Great question! For some reason it doesn't matter if we use a comma.
