Comma

Hi,

"I spent five years living in London, which helped me become independent."

"This internship would provide a take-off point for my dream, which is to work for your company."

I would use commas in both examples, but I was wondering if it'd be considered incorrect if I left them out.

Btw, "if it would be considered..." is correct, right?

Thank you.
