Do we need to put a comma after plants in the sentence below.?

I think No, you dont need to .. I suggest your sentence should be like this " This hiking trail runs through beautiful natural habitats of animals, plants and nature spots" you have to use the seperating word "and" once .. coz the sentence you given sounds redundantly
