Comma

Hi, experts.

Do you really need to put a comma after phrases like "I think", "Trust me", "I am sorry", etc? IMO, no.

I think we should leave now.
Trust me you're doing it wrong.
I am sorry I couldn't attend your call.

I think what one may put in is "that", but not a comma.

The comma is falling out of use in these cases, but it is still generally retained when it denotes a breath gap. I would still use one in the second sentence because I would make a breath gap there.
