I wrote "Some articles influence my career significantly, and the way I practice physical therapy."
Is this sentence correct? is a comma necessary? Thanks

In my opinion, this sentence order is not an example of good style. You might help it a bit by replacing "and" with "as well as."

I would use past tense in the first clause. If both your career and your practice were influenced, then put the adverb before the main verb.
