Which one is correct?
1. She has been coming to church with us since her surgery.
2. She has been going to church with us since her surgery.

I used #1 when I was talking to my friend at the store. So I guessed it was wrong. :-(

Well, it's not quite a matter of physical presence. There's an aspect of 'mental presence' as well, where you think of yourelf as there or as making the journey.

Thus, we can say things like
eg I'm going to the grocery store. Do you want to come?
