Come unbidden

Hi
What's the difference between 'come unbidden' and 'be unwanted'?

This article is not concerned with private encounters with the recent dead, about which much has been written by bereavement researchers (Bennett, 1987; Rees, 1971); such encounters may come unbidden through particular artefacts, music, or other triggers to memory

Thanks in advance
