Hi,
Q: I enjoyed them all the more because Sue used to come round
to breakfast :unQ
Note the highlighted words.
(1) Is "breakfast" a verb or a noun here?
Some dictionaries claim that the verb
to breakfast is but an Americanism?...
(2) Can we say, "...Sue used to come round
for breakfast" instead? Or maybe it would sound to you just like a cannibal's joke: "Who are we going to have FOR breaklfast today?"

Hope my question makes sense....
Thank you!
