Hi. Please tell me if putting the definite article "the" before the word "knowledge" in these Bible verses is correct. Thank you in advance for your help.
In the New International Version, in 1 Tomothy 2:3-4, it is written:
3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
