Pankaj Singh to Rayudu, SIX!!, the runs are coming thick and fast suddenly, it was a lot fuller, Rayudu decides to go over long on again, gets it off the middle and it was destined to land in the hands of Vinay Kumar in the deep but he just palmed it over the ropes, could prove to be very very costly in the end!
Please explain to me the emboldened parts.
Though I guess "just palmed over" means "Just touched his fingers on the ball when it was passing over his head to the boundary".
