Vocabulary

come out/have words

1. Ninety percent of a women's pheromones come out the top of her head!

Do I need to put a "from" behind "come out" in written English?

2. A: Oh-oh, what about Ross?

B: I don't want to go into the whole thing, but umm, we have words and I kill him.

What does "have words" mean?

Thank you.

Kanonathena I don't want to go into the whole thing, but umm, we have words and I kill him.
Those two verbs are at the present tense. Doesn't it sound strange ?
Wouldn't the past be more correct ?

Hi,

The present tense makes it sound like a story, eg perhaps the speaker is describing a play that they are both performing in.

Best wishes, Clive
