Do I need to put a "from" behind "come out" in written English?

Kanonathena I don't want to go into the whole thing, but umm, we have words and I kill him.Those two verbs are at the present tense. Doesn't it sound strange ?
Wouldn't the past be more correct ?

The present tense makes it sound like a story, eg perhaps the speaker is describing a play that they are both performing in.
