Come from / belong to / be from (a particular place)

I was wondering if there was any difference between those three expressions; especially in a situation like this:

1. Where / which country do you come from?

1a. Where / which country are you from?

1b. Where / which country do you belong to?

In a situation where we wish to know the place, for example, the state, region, country, etc., that a person is originally from, is it possible for us to use any of those expressions, please?

Thank you!

1. Where / which country do you come from? OK

1a. Where / which country are you from? This is best.

1b. Where / which country do you belong to? Are you asking about birth or about citizenship? I'd avoid this version.
