Come by this way

Sometimes he comes by this way, sometimes the other ways. So I feel it's futile to wait for him now. He might have gone by the other ways.

Could you please correct my sentence?

More Context :


Mr. B and Mr. C are waiting for MR. A on a road/place which was a path of MR. A's office from his(A) house. Mr. B uttered the sentences to Mr. C.
