Vocabulary

come by itself

Hello!

Is it Ok to say:

Win-win situations, naturally, do not come by themselves; they are usually the result of negotiator's motivation which can be intrinsic and extrinsic.

Can you perhaps think of a better expression than ''do not come by themselves?''. Is it Ok to say ''shouldn't be taken for granted''? I think it has a different meaning.

Thank you very much

Come unaided? Spring fully armed like Athena from Zeus' forehead? 'Taken for granted' is an attitude, not a mode of appearance.
