I heard a friend of mine say. "She came behind my back. While i had gone to the super market." When i asked her what she meant she said - Coming behind my back was - Coming to the place where she was. while she had just left or not there any more.
Is it the right usage ?

Hi, Sounds very odd and unnatural to me. If someone said that to me. I wouldn't know they meant that I'd think perhaps she came and stood behnd me.
