Combine present perfect continous and present continuous

I have a doubt Can I combine present perfect continuous with present continuous?

For example I've been working with a tutor, so I´m gaining much knowledge.

Yes, you can. I've been watching what I eat, and I've been losing weight. I've been kneading this bread for what seems like hours and my hands are getting tired.
