Combine past and present events with a single tense?
Hello everyone.
Can I say "Most of the people who have been jailed in North Korea seem to be from US" to describe people who're currently jailed in North Korea and also people who were once jailed but are now free?
or should I use "Most of the people who have or had been jailed..." instead? Or something else?
Top answer
Most foreign prisoners in North Korea have been from the US.
