I don't take the same means of transport to work as I do home so sometimes I find myself in a part of town I'm never in sometimes.
I live as far from this stop as from that stop.

I have a bad habit of going to sleep to late. As the week goes by, I get more tired and more tired.
She is less qualified than you to do the job.
I'm not the best guy to put a good word in for you with the boss.
This route is fater than the one you take.
I'd rather take the metro when it's raining/when it rains than the bus.

Come on, Alex, you can do better than this! Several problems:
repetition of "sometimes"
you can't find yourself in a place you're never in!
Even if, for instance, you regularly walk to work and take the bus home, you would not suddenly be in a place you had never been in before.
The first part of the sentence is so abstract it seems unnatural for conversation. People don't usually talk about "taking different means of transport" -- they just talk about taking the bus, walking, etc, or "how they get to work." It would be much simple to say something like, "Since I take the bus to work and the train home, I pass through different neighborhoods/see different parts of town/see different things morning and evening.

Okay -- or, This stop is as far from my home as that one is.
I have a bad habit of going to sleep too late. As the week goes by, I get more and more tired.
She is less qualified than you to do the job. Okay.
I'm not the best guy to put in a good word for you with the boss. Better to keep "put in" together.
This route is faster than the one you take.
I'd rather take the metro when it's raining/when it rains than the bus.
When it's raining, I'd rather take the metro than the bus.
I'd rather take the metro when it's raining than when it's sunny.
(Keep the components of "rather A than B" close together.)
