0I think the problem is linked to companies in Asia. There are to many abbreviations and this is pointless. Co is a common abbreviation for company and Ltd for a private limited company in the UK. There is no need for a comma. But I can imagine that the very first use was a kind of mistake by chance and after that they are in the situation of no escape.
