Colour/Colours

Every year, to celebrate the soverign's birthday, the British hold a parade called "The Trooping Of The Colour".

My question is, is Colour the singular, and Colours the plural?

I have heard "one colours" being said. Is that wrong? Should it be "one colour" instead, and then "two colours" and so on?
