COLON USAGE

Hi,

Is this correct?

Which is not a city in Korea: Tokyo, Seoul, or Busan?

Why one will not resort to using a colon here if the previous sentence exhibits a correct colon use?

Which carries a negative meaning? 1) He left in a hurry. 2) He triumphed in a grand fashion.

I don't find the first correct as a piece of prose. I suggest: Which is not a city in Korea , Tokyo, Seoul, or Busan? The format you are using is not one for formal writing, but a listing style found in test question layout: Which is not a city in Korea?
