colon or question mark

Is the question mark needed or is the colon used in the below structure?

Which stage actress once said?: Come up and see me sometime.

Thanks.

I would do it like this, certainly without a colon. Which stage actress once said, "Come up and see me sometime"? The general rule is that you can't have two punctuation marks together like that.
