Collocation with 'common sense'

Hi everybody,

Is it correct?

I'm willing to do anything within the confines of common sense to get this position.

I don't know what 'common sense' has (confines, limits, borders, etc.). Maybe there are other problems with this sentence. I don't know.

Thanks for your answer in advance.

(Please, somebody check my other question, too. If somebody answers without 'tick' icon or 'teacher' icon or something similar then I can't say whether the answer is correct or not. That is the situation at the other question.)
