Hello,

please could you give your opinion on the following sentences whether you find them correct.

1. He has been an outstanding player, and I KEENLY (not painfully) regret his decision to leave the team.

2. Their RUDIMENTARY ( exclusive?) goal was to keep young adults off the streets and away from drugs.

Thank you.

I guess 'rudimentary' means basic and 'exclusive' means only in the second sentence. Thus, both words are acceptable depending on the point of view. Agreed?
