I am discussing the profile and portfolio with the client as well as he also wants to collaborate and exchanging works between us.

Is this correct?

Here, can we call him as "the client" relevant one?

kumenglish he also wants to collaborate and exchanging works between us. It seems to me that he's not only a client but a prospective partner in business as well.

Whatever the "profile and portfolio" is, I'd write it like this:

I discuss the profile and portfolio with the client who also wants to do some collaborative works with us.
