Is the word 'bail' a direct dictionary translation of the word in Croatian?
I've looked on Google and can't find a more suitable word or think of one at this moment.
The technical term 'bail' in this context will only occur when the well has almost stopped giving oil and it's seems out of sequence.

The verb crpiti, which ocurrs in my text has more general meaning and could easily be translated as pump. I found bailing on the Internet and assumed that this is the correct word to use. I will check it with the author.
