Hi,

(1) Could you please add more synonyms to this list?
(2) Could you please sort the list so that the most formal terms are shown first?

If you could also point out some "nuances" (which of these terms are preferable and when), if would be especially valuable information of course.

Hi,

I usually just hear variations on 'the people I work with',

I've never heard a blue-collar worker speak of 'my workmate'. I think the people he works with would laugh.

I agree with Clive. I would not use workmate. Coworker is the most commonly used.
