collaborate work and more

I would appreciate if you can check the grammar/ spelling of this text.

• Capacity to work collaboratively
• AND Experience of Collaborative working in a team
During my academic studies and volunteer experience I have worked on several team-based projects. I worked closely with fellow students on my degree course to create and deliver academic presentations in seminars. I also developed excellent collaboration skills while working for the XXX where I worked voluntarily as a Member Liaison Officer of the XXX. I communicated with people at all levels: the XX, other XX officers and student reps. In particular, I cooperated closely with the PR officer to send out student rep newsletters. I actively participated in SMG meetings e.g. I suggested constructing a Frequently Asked Question web-site for student reps which I later designed (please see XXX) and I created an effective e-mailing system so student reps could be contacted easily by me or other officers. When working for the XXX befriending a young person with Asperger’s syndrome I also collaborated with other befrienders. Supervised by XXX’s volunteer coordinator, all befrienders discussed each of our befriendees, the experience of being a befriender and gave each other advice on how to handle difficult situations.

• Good oral and written skills
I have developed excellent communication skills as a Member Liaison Officer of XX. I actively participated in XXX meetings, collaborating with other officers and communicating with student reps from various backgrounds. Moreover, as a student I developed the ability to present research in a clear and coherent manner, when conducting academic presentations in seminars. Throughout my degree I also developed strong report/ essay writing skills. These skills resulted in First Class marks in Advanced Research Methods (as mentioned earlier) and in my dissertation (XX%). My overall First Class degree was also awarded because I performed excellently in exams, where I was writing essays under time-pressure.

• Highly organised and thorough
I have developed great organisational skill due to the combination of my academic studies and work. Throughout my degree I had to meet tight deadlines while at the same time being committed to paid or volunteer work. This has provided me with the ability to prioritise tasks, think innovatively and manage my time effectively. Having achieved a First Class BSc degree in my second language require a hard working attitude and thorough approach to studying.
