Vocabulary

'Colder' in this context

I have been getting closer to somebody that I have been talking to. The person isn't making it too obvious, but I have the feeling that she likes me. When we parted, the person said that "it is getting colder".

1) What really is the intent?

a) I wasn't wearing my jacket and the person means that I should start putting my jacket on.

b) Is the liking for each other going to fade off?

c) A hug expectation?!? "I'm" cold would have certainly meant that I believe?

2) Does an affirmative response like "It is" fit in as a good response and indicate that I am ready to go for a hug in the future (if she meant that)

The 'It' made it a little confusing. The weather was really a little bit cold.

Thanks!

" is a common, ordinary comment about the weather and ambient temperature. I don't think it has any association at all with your present or future relationship. She was just perhaps concerned that a T-shirt was not enough to keep you comfortably warm.
