Vocabulary

cold or called

Hi teachers,

I heard a sentence but couldn't figure out whether it was "cold" or "called." It refers to ready to go.

Time is cold
Time is called

Thanks

I was thinking if there had anything to do with "cold" and "warm"

Thanks

"time is cold" is not a known expression.

I'm sure the word was 'called', but note that Time is called is a very unlikely sentence. It would need some very specific context,
eg A boxing match
eg A British pub at closing time

No-one is likely to walk into a room and say either Time is cold or Time is called.
The listeners would be baffled.

Hi teachers,

I listened for at least twenty times and then when I was sitting for the kids watching a cartoon, it struck me: Time to go.

Thanks everyone
