cold joke

It doesn't have to be a joke, but when someone's
remark is so common-place that it is uninteresting,
young people here say the Japanese equivalent of
'coooold'. Is it the same in English-speaking
countries?

Actually, it's almost the opposite to this Japanese custom. Younger people say 'cool' when they like something.

I think u don't like jokes that's why u just made a dramatic direction indicating Japan by using word "coooold". It should be "cool" in "chatting slang" here is a jokes for U coooold means u are fool.
